On Saturday, while attending the New York Comic Con (NYCC), Chris Evans flaunted his gold wedding ring, dropping a subtle hint that he was taken! All the single ladies out there, our heart cries just like yours!
Married to girlfriend Alba Baptista, a well-known actress from the Netflix series The Warrior Nun, Evans opened up about his marriage when he appeared on a panel at the NYCC. Other famous faces on this panel included Susan Sarandon, Tom Hiddleston, Zachary Levi, David Tennant, and Ewan McGregor.
Evan also spoke about it on the panel round, stating that planning a wedding is a lot, so he tried to relate to and appreciate other married people. He also noted that autumn is his favorite season, and he and his partner are gearing up to enjoy themselves, taking time out!
We had reported before that the marriage between Evan and Baptista occurred in a private ceremony in Cape Cod in an estate on 9 September. Marvel fame Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, and their respective partners were on the guest list.
Speaking of the ceremony, Evans stated that they had two events related to the wedding ceremonies, one on the East Coast and the other in Portugal, as Baptiste is Portuguese. Last November, the Marvel superstar and the lead of the Warrior Nun first sparked rumors!
Fans across the world started speculating that the two actors were dating as they began to post each other pictures and posts on their social media platforms. Baptiste was at the prime of her career with her success from the Netflix series and the movie “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris”, a historical comedy.
On the other hand, Evans is taking some time off concerning movies and projects, as he has informed in an interview with the GQ that he has other interests in life and can see himself less acting! “Not something that I couldn’t live without” were the exact words, and we are sure fans out there are sad hearing this!
