NBA And OCP Group Of Africa Launch The Youth Empowerment Program

Fertilizer Giant OCP Group of Robert Morocco had teamed up with NBA Africa to launch the basketball development to benefit the youths. The program has been launched in the city of Khouribga, which is 250 kilometers away from Casablanca.

The initiative for this is in line with a multi-year cooperation between OCP and NBA Africa. As per the OCP statement, basketball aims to make it more accessible to Rwandan and Moroccan youth by launching the Junior NBA League in multiple cities such as Benguerir, Kigali, and Khouribga.

The chief person of Strategy and Operations, George Land for NBA Africa, has commented that the efforts are to empower the youths of Morocco in terms of cooperating with the OCP group.

The statement has been concluded by commitment towards community development through several initiatives, including multiple socio-economic activities. In line with commitment, the group has launched the Act4 Community Program, which enables OCP employees to engage in cultural, educational, and even environmental projects throughout Africa.

The initiative concept is about improving the living standards of a player to create and add value in multiple areas, including agriculture, employability, sports, etc.
