It is hard to find a TV series that lives up to its hype. But when it comes to Stranger Things, the series definitely lives up to its hype. The show created a worldwide buzz after it first came out in 2016, and too for all the right reasons.

• According to actor Noah Schnapp, the filming for Season 5 will start in May of 2023.

• Since the filming is starting mid-year in 2023, we can expect the release date to be somewhere between 2024.

• It has already been released that Season 5 Episode 1 will be named “The Crawl.”

• The vibe for season 5 will be much like season 1 but on a larger scale.

• The story is going to take place fully in Hawkins and will focus on Will Byers.

But whether season 5 is happening or not, Ross Duffer said about that, “Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. (The Pandemic) has given us time to look ahead, and figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”

Talking further about what to expect from season 5, the Duffer brothers said, “It’s going to feel a lot larger in scale than season 1, but we wanna go back to a lot of things we did in season 1, a lot of original groupings and pairings – there’s something nice about coming full scale. It’s gonna feel bigger than season 1, much more massive in terms of the stakes and the scale, but we wanna revisit a lot of things we did in season 1.”

1. Millie Bobby Brown

She plays Eleven in the show and is one of the main characters of the show. She has psychokinetic abilities and telepathy.

After escaping from a research lab, she became the adoptive daughter of the Police chief of Hawkins, Jim Hopper, and took the name, Jane Hopper.

2. Finn Wolfhard

Mike Wheeler is an intelligent kid and is again among the main cast. He is a very committed friend, and later in the series, he develops feelings for Eleven, and they started dating. He is in the initial group with Dustin, Lucas, and Will.

3. Noah Schnapp

He is the one who is in the middle of everything supernatural, the story starts with him getting kidnapped by the monster, from an alternate universe.

Will Byers is the son of Joyce Byers and the younger brother of Jonathan Byers. Due to his kidnapping, he develops a connection with the monster.

4. Natalie Dyer

She is the older sister of Mike Wheeler, she is an aspiring journalist. She found her journalistic side while investigating her friend’s death. At the beginning of the show, she was dating Steve at the beginning but later broke up and dated Jonathan.

5. Joe Keery

Steve is the popular kid at school and at the beginning was dating Nancy Wheeler. He used to bully Jonathan at the beginning, but later they became friends. He is the “babysitter” of the group of kids, and although not willingly, he ends up being the one to take care of them.

6. Charlie Heaton

Jonathan is an introverted kind-hearted kid in high school who aspires to become a photographer. He is very close to his mother, Joyce Byers, and younger brother Will Byers. Later in the show, he becomes Nancy’s boyfriend.

7. Gaten Matarazzo

Dustin is among the main cast and in the group of kids. He is friends with Will, Mike, and Lucas. He deals with a lisp and has cleidocranial dysplasia.

After getting new teeth in season 2, he became very proud of it. He became attracted to Max at first, but later he dated Suzie.

8. Caleb Mclaughlin

Lucas is the fourth member of the initial group of friends, which included Will, Mike, and Dustin. He was suspicious about Eleven from the beginning but later became her friend.

He was Max’s love interest. In the later seasons, he became popular after he joined the basketball team.

9. Priah Ferguson

She plays Erica Sinclair, she is the younger sister of Lucas, she is a smart and intelligent young girl and often helps the group in certain situations.

10. Sadie Sink

Sadie plays the character of Max Mayfield, she is the younger stepsister of Billy Hargrove. She is a tomboy who becomes an attraction for both Dustin and Lucas. But ultimately, she and Lucas started dating. In season 4, she became the prime target of Vecna.

11. Dacre Montgomery

He is Max’s older stepbrother, who is very violent, abusive, and unpredictable. He started to challenge Steve on being the popular kid at school. Billy was controlled by Mind Flayer in season 3, but he sacrificed himself later to save the kids.

12. Maya Hawke

She works with Steve in an ice cream store, who is a lesbian. Steve and she are very good friends who worked at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream parlor and then at a video store.

13. Winona Ryder

She is the mother of Will Byers and Jonathan Byers. Joyce is divorced from their father Lonnie Byers.

Then she started dating Bob Newby, who was a high school classmate, till he died at the end of season 2. She and the chief police Jim Hopper are known to have strong feelings for each other.

14. David Harbour

Jim Hopper is the chief of the police department. He became an alcoholic and divorced his wife after his daughter Sara died of cancer.

He then became quite responsible for finding Will in the first season. Then as the season progressed, he adopted Eleven as his daughter. Jim and Joyce are known to have mutual feelings for each other.
