Penelope has always had a way with words, which led her to create the scandal sheet! Even though initially it was just about her passion for writing, it later became her thing, especially when people started appreciating and complimenting her great skills.

Her search for a husband will take her back to her friend, Colin Bridgerton, who has gone through some changes himself. In the process, their story unfolds quite raunchily.

Everything We Know About Bridgerton Season 3 So Far!
In the finale episode of Bridgerton Season 2, we see that Colin has claimed that he will never be caught in Penelope Featherington in anyone’s wildest dreams! Its broke Penelope’s heart to know Colin returned her feelings and demeaned her in front of others!
Season 3 starts here as Colin returns from his world adventures to find his dear “Pen” is not the same anymore. He always thought only Penelope saw him for who he was, but that has all changed!
Even after they stand on friendly ground, both feel that there is some undercurrent! Check out the trailer where you see at the very end that the two friends look at each other with more than just friendship in their eyes.
Even though Penelope thinks that Colin did pity her because he offered to help her find her husband, Colin is hooked. He cannot keep Penelope at a distance even after she gets a suitor!

Timeline
The popular Netflix series Bridgerton Season 3 will be released in two parts this year! The first four episodes, which premiered on 16 May 2024, are already out. If you have a Netflix subscription, you can already stream the first four episodes.
The second part will premiere on 13 June 2024. It will consist of four episodes of the official trailer; if you have yet to see part 1, you get a glimpse of these parts used in the trailer.
Plot: Number of Episodes
Penelope Featherington is the beauty we will be looking forward to this season! For a long time, Miss Featherington has been in the background, reporting everything that goes on in the ton. She has finally come on her own, slowly giving up on her crush, Colin Bridgerton!
With Penelope, we have the hero, Mister Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Newton, who had a beautiful friendship with Penelope. In seasons one and two, we have seen these two supporting and enjoying each other’s friendship.
However, at the end of Season 2, Penelope hears Colin talk about her quite demeaning. This leads Penelope to move on to find a husband instead of simpering after Colin.
Part One
The first four episodes set the tide for what is to come later in the season! According to the trailer, in Part I, the lead actors are coming into their own, slowly accepting their personalities l personalities, preferences, and choices.
Yes, at the risk of spoiling the first part for those who haven’t watched it yet, both the characters have been bogged down by the expectations of their families, societies, and other members of the ton. They finally realize that it is all about themselves.
Despite no specific segregation between parts 1! (Spoiler Alert), we even see flashes of steamy scenes between Colin and Penelope. Yes, I can tell you that part 1 ends on a cliffhanger! You will want more, but that may be the intent.
Part Two
You will immediately have to watch the second part of Bridgerton season 3, which drops on 13 June 2024. Of course, we also get to learn whether the producers of Bridgerton season 3 will follow the plot of Julia Quinn’s book.
The third season is based on the book Romancing Mister Bridgerton, which tells the love story of Penelope and Colin. The moment Colin says he will help Penelope find a husband, there is a sense of foreboding.

I have always been a huge fan of the Regency era, and Bridgerton seems like the perfect interpretation of the era. Of course, we had seen Downtown Abbey season 7 before this. However, it was a little more developed in terms of fashion sense, society, and the overall treatment of men and women.

Apart from the other characters of the ton, such as Queen Charlotte or Lady Danbury, the eight siblings of the Bridgerton family are a must. Colin’s fresh new look has already made him noticeable in society’s eyes.
You also realize that Colin’s initial indifference to Penelope raises questions about his behavior and overall demeanor. The extent of their friendship is the foundation of their relationship, considering we see Colin asking his mother the same questions in the trailer!

Now, if you are wondering about what changes are being implemented behind the camera in the Bridgerton season 3, let me share with you. Of course, Shonda Rhimes runs a tight ship, so changes will be made accordingly.
Previously, Chris Van Dusen managed as the showrunner. However, Jess Brownell will be taking over this position. We have seen other series penned by Brownell, namely Inventing Anna and Scandal.
Other executive producers apart from Shonda Rhimes are Tom Verica and Betsy Beers for Bridgerton. There will not be huge changes in the visual style or tonality of the show. However, there might be small aspects that will be more fine-tuned regarding the perception of the plot.
